Jeff Knoll 
 
 
JEFF KNOLL has served as Oakville’s Ward 5 Regional and Town Councillor since he was first elected in 2000. In October 2010, Jeff was re-elected to his fourth consecutive term. He is also the founder and chief executive officer of Film.Ca Inc., the operator of Encore Cinemas in Oakville and Burlington.

Jeff majored in political science and communication studies (film and television) at the University of Windsor, and continues to study in many areas of interest including municipal affairs and quality service.

During his tenure at the Town of Oakville and Region of Halton, Councillor Knoll has served on almost every committee and board within the municipality. He currently serves as a member of the Halton Police Services Board, the Oakville Public Library, the Halton Regional Administration and Finance Committee, the Oakville Administrative Services Committee, the Halton Housing Advisory Committee and as chairman of the Halton Region Audit Sub-Committee.

In addition to his current committee and board experience, Jeff has served on the board of Halton Health Care Services Corporation, the Halton Children’s Aid Society, the Oakville & Milton Humane Society, and was both a board member and president of the Halton Community Housing Corporation for more than five years.

Jeff and his wife, Michelle, live in Oak Park and have five children ranging in age from 12 to 27.
