ROBERT S. MAICH is a strategic advisor and management consultant to public and private enterprises. Until mid-2006, he also co-owned with his wife, a family business located in Halton Region.  Residents of Oakville since 1969, Bob Maich and his wife Sharon, have two children and two grandchildren.

A graduate of the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, Bob’s business career progressed from marketing management with Colgate Canada to Managing Director and President of Colgate (Africa) Ltd., based in Nairobi, Kenya.  Upon his return to Canada, he practiced as Senior Associate with a major international management consulting firm serving clients in North and South America.

Bob then joined Silcorp Limited as Vice President, Corporate Planning advancing to President and Board Director.  Silcorp’s holdings included: Silverwood Dairies; Baskin-Robbins, Canada; the Mac’s Convenience Store chain, Canada; and various gas/convenience networks in the United States.

Since 1990, his management consulting firm has served a variety of Canadian and USA businesses. Bob has also served as a Director and Chairman of a number of corporate, community and non-profit Boards.

Bob has been a member of the Police Services Board since September 2005.  He is also a member of the Ontario Association of Police Services Boards (OAPSB) Board of Directors.
