|Break and Enter|
|February 3, 2011|
The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating a break in and mischief to a residence in Georgetown.
On January 24th, a property manager entered a vacant apartment on the main level of a Main Street house and found all the windows had been propped open. Someone had turned the kitchen faucet on and left it running, resulting in the sink overflowing and water spilling onto the floor. Due to the below freezing temperature, the water froze causing some damage. There was no sign of forced entry. Total loss is unknown at this time.
