The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating the theft of a vehicle and fraud in Halton Hills.
Sometime between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on January 9th, unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked Toyota Tacoma pickup truck that was parked in a Fourth Line residential driveway. The suspect(s) removed a wallet containing personal documents including credit cards and an undisclosed amount of cash. Also stolen were Oakley sunglasses and a set of keys to a Ford van. The suspect(s) then used the stolen keys to enter the Ford van which was parked beside the Tacoma and drove off. The stolen van was later recovered with mior damage in the ditch across the road from the residence.
Later that day, the suspect(s) used the stolen credit card at a Tim Horton's coffee shop in Oakville.
