The Halton Regional Police Service is investigating a break and enter to a residence in Milton.
At approximately 7:15 a.m. on June 23rd, unknown suspect(s) broke into a vacant residence on 20 Sideroad by kicking in the basement cellar door.
The suspect(s) proceeded to knock the connector off the base of the home heating oil tank, allowing 500 gallons of home heating oil to flood the basement. The suspect(s) continued to the upper floors where they plugged sinks and a bathtub and turned the water on, causing them to overflow.
