Following the previous media release, we can now confirm additional information regarding the deceased individuals. They are as follows: a male aged 18 from Milton and a female aged 16 from Brampton, who were travelling together in one vehicle, and a male aged 26 from Milton in the other vehicle. FATAL COLLISION - MILTON
On Saturday, March 30, 2024, at approximately 3:20 a.m., the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) responded to a two-vehicle motor collision at the intersection of Sixth Line and Derry Rd, Milton. Tragically, three individuals have been pronounced deceased at the scene.

Update- Arrest Made in Historical Sexual Assault Cases
Region of Peel – As a result of a multijurisdictional joint forces investigation, investigators from Peel Regional Police, Halton Regional Police, and Waterloo Regional Police, have charged a man in a series of historical sexual assaults on children.
The investigation, known as Project Woodland, related to historical sexual assaults on children occurring from 1992 to 1995 in the involved services respective regions.

Arrest Made in Georgetown Break and Enters

On Monday March 25, 2024, the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS), responded to two separate break and enter occurrences in the area of Main Street North and Kennedy Street, Georgetown. Both entries occurred over the preceding weekend while the homeowners were away. The suspect forced entry to both residences taking items of value, debit and credit cards.

The Halton Police Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Superintendent Kevin Maher to the role of Deputy Chief of Police for the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS).
