Employee and Family Assistance Program (E.A.P.)

While psychological difficulties such as depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress should be assessed and treated by a psychologist, your Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides access to social workers and psychotherapists with expertise in psychosocial issues, such as work, health, family, finance and life challenges. EAP is a confidential and voluntary support service that can be accessed by members and their immediate family (as defined in your employee benefit plan) over the telephone, in person, or online. EAP also provides a variety of issue-based health and wellness resources, such as on-line tools, to help you manage your personal wellbeing.
