Police records for motor vehicle collisions, thefts, property damage and/or break and enters are only released to the owner, the insured or the insurance companies and/or lawyers of people who are directly involved in an incident.

Note: All law offices, insurance companies and third parties must provide evidence of consent from the person involved in the incident.
The fee is each report is $56.50 ($50.00 plus $6.50 HST).
Business cheques are payable to the Halton Regional Police Service. Payment by personal cheque is accepted but the report will be held for ten (10) business days until the cheque clears the bank.
Other forms of acceptable payment are cash, debit, Visa and Mastercard.
Police records can only be picked up at HRPS Headquarters, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m to 3:30 p.m.
Any report involving a domestic incident, child custody or assault must be obtained through the Freedom of Information Office.
