Internal Departments

To support the Chief of Police in his role as leader of the Halton Regional Police Service, these internal departments conduct ongoing reviews of policy, processes and performance towards achieving Service and Community priorities. In addition staff works with our diverse communities to enhance understanding and advance partnership opportunities.

These departments are comprised of the following:

Chief's Staff

To support the Chief of Police in his role as leader of the Halton Regional Police Service, the Chief’s Staff conducts ongoing review of policy, processes and performance towards achieving Service and Community priorities. In addition staff works with our diverse communities to enhance understanding and advance partnership opportunities.


Administrative Support Services

The Halton Regional Police Service Administrative Services Bureau coordinates 'behind-the-scenes' resources such as buildings, vehicles, uniforms and equipment for frontline police officers and other Service members.


Support Services

Halton Regional Police Service Support Services coordinates the day to day business duties of Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology and Training.


Communications

The Halton Regional Police Service Communications Bureau is responsible for initial response to all 9-1-1 calls for police, fire and ambulance originating within Halton Region.


Courts and Records

The Halton Regional Police Service Records Information Services Unit supports both adminstrative and operational strategies of the organization and provides services for internal and external business process customers.
