A Directory of Records is available for viewing at all District stations, library branches, Regional Municipality of Halton Administration office and the Halton Regional Police Service Headquarters to assist individuals interested in making a request.

All requests must be in writing, either by application form or by letter, accompanied by a $5.00 application fee. Cheques are payable to the Halton Regional Police Service.
Lawyers and insurance companies should submit their client's/insured’s authorization with their application and payment.
Once the application has been received, applicants will be notified regarding disclosure within 30 days.
All decisions issued under the Act can be appealed to the Information and Privacy Commissioners Office.
