Halton Regional Police Service to Launch 18th Annual Toys for Tots Holiday Campaign

The Toys for Tots campaign is a program that aims to provide toys to less fortunate families living within Halton Region. This year the Halton Regional Police have partnered with Canadian Tire, the Salvation Army, Mandarin Restaurant and Halton Honda in efforts to collect and provide toys to families in need.

The official kick-off event for the 2017 Toys for Tots Campaign will feature remarks by Halton Regional Police Service Deputy Chief Nish Duraiappah and program partners. Other community partners will be in attendance and will be speaking, including Carlo Sabucco from Sil’s Complete Auto Care (a donor from previous campaigns).

Previous donors have also been invited to event, including the Burlington Lions Optimist Minor Hockey Association (BLOMHA) who raised over $60,000 in toys for the 2016 campaign.

The Halton Regional Police Service’s Honorary Officers, wrestling living legends and humanitarians, Tiger Jeet Singh and Tiger Jeet Singh Jr. will be joining us to launch this festive season of giving!
