At 10:00pm, on Friday, December 22nd, 2017, the Halton Regional Police Service responded to a robbery at the Quick-Pik Variety Store located on Miller Drive, in Georgetown.
At the scene police learned that four males entered the store wearing balaclavas and hoodies. One of the suspects brandished a knife and two other suspects were armed with firearms. The suspects made a demand for cash and cigarettes. They stole a quantity of cigarettes, cash and the keys to the sales clerk's car. During the robbery the clerk was struck in the head with one of the firearms and also sustained a small scrape on his arm during a struggle with the suspect who had the knife. As a result the clerk received minor injuries which did not require medical attention. When the suspects left they attempted to steal the victim's car but were unsuccessful and fled in the vehicle they arrived in.
All four suspects are described as:
Male, black, late teens to early twenties, wearing hooded sweaters, dark clothing, gloves and face coverings.
