Update To Oakville Hasty Market Robbery



Further to the information already released regarding the Hasty Market Robbery at 2828 Kingsway Drive in Oakville on February 2, 2018, the Halton Regional Police Service have collected still photographs of the suspects, derived from surveillance video at the convenience store. These images are attached and intended for release. This investigation is ongoing and police are encouraging the assistance of the public.

Anyone with information regarding this robbery is asked to contact Detective Constable Autumn Mills of the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau – Robbery Team at 905-825-4747 ext. 2285.

On Friday, February 2, 2018, the Hasty Market located at 2828 Kingsway Drive in the Town of Oakville was robbed by two masked men.

At approximately 10:00pm, two male suspects entered the convenience store and approached the employee behind the counter. One of the suspects was armed with a small knife. The suspects demanded cash, cigarettes and cigars. The employee complied with their request and an undisclosed amount of cash and various cartons of cigarettes obtained.

The suspects fled the convenience store and were last observed running northbound towards Kingsway Drive.

No one was injured as a result of this incident. 

Suspect descriptions:

Suspect 1: Male, heavy set, approximately 6' tall, wearing a dark grey hoodie with a small red scarf around his neck, dark track pants with a thick white stripe down the side, beige ankle high work boots and a black and white mask

Suspect 2: Male, slender build, approximately 5'9" tall,  wearing all black clothing (including a hoodie), and black shoes.
