Impaired Driving Offences Summary Within Halton Region

On February 7, 2018 shortly after 4:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a parking lot in the area of Trafalgar Road and Leighland Avenue in Oakville, in response to a citizen-initiated traffic complaint.  As a result of an investigation, Arthur Grobelny (49), of Milton was charged with driving while ability impaired and driving over 80 mgs.

The Halton Regional Police Service remains committed to road safety through prevention, education and enforcement initiatives.

Members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.

The Service’s Twitter and Facebook accounts should not be used for this purpose as they are not monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Please be reminded that all persons charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
