Halton Regional Police Service has two suspects in custody and is looking for a third suspect following an early morning break and enter at a trucking company compound in Milton.
Shortly before 5:00 a.m. on July 9, 2018, Halton Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle and three suspicious males in the yard of a trucking company compound on Alliance Drive. When the officer approached the vehicle, one of the suspects attempted to pin the officer between the suspect vehicle and a transport truck, prior to fleeing the scene. The officer was uninjured, however a security guard, also present, suffered minor injuries attempting to get out of the way of the fleeing vehicle. Two other suspects fled on foot.
The suspect vehicle was later spotted travelling eastbound on Highway 401. Due to the dangerous operation of the vehicle, a pursuit was terminated and Peel Regional Police and the OPP were notified.
Just before 6:00 a.m. on July 9, 2018, Halton Police officers observed two males matching the descriptions of the outstanding suspects who had fled on foot. The two suspects were apprehended without incident. Charges are pending as the investigation continues, and in this regard, the identities of the two suspects in custody will not be released at this time.

This vehicle was reported as stolen in Peel Region.
The third suspect is still outstanding.
