Fire at a Condominium Complex in Oakville



On November 3rd at approximately 00:30 hours, Oakville Fire and Halton Police responded to a fire at a condominium complex located at 1514 Pilgrims Way in Oakville.

The fire occurred in a unit on the 3rd floor of the building and the occupants were able to escape without any injuries. Several residents from adjoining units were treated on scene for minor smoke inhalation.

A partial evacuation of the building has taken place due to the amount of smoke on the 3rd floor level.

Fire crews are still assessing the scene and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Oakville Transit arranged for several buses to attend the complex to accommodate the displaced residents.
