Impaired Driving Offences Within Halton Region



On November 3, 2018 just after 2:00 pm, Halton Police officers initiated a traffic stop in the area of LaSalle Park Road and Fairwood Place in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Sylvie Neto De Oliveria (54) of Grimsby was charged with driving while ability impaired and driving over 80mgs.

On November 5, 2018 just before 11:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Trafalgar Road and South Service Road West in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Ryan Kemplen-MacDonald (24) of Oakville was charged with driving while ability impaired and fail or refuse to provide sample.

On November 5, 2018 just after 9:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Cobblehill Road and Main Street South in Halton Hills. As a result of an investigation, Bradley Hickinson (36) of Halton Hills was charged with driving while ability impaired and driving over 80mgs.

The Halton Regional Police Service remains committed to road safety through prevention, education and enforcement initiatives.

Members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.

Please be reminded that all persons charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
