Suspect Arrested in Connection with Series of Residential Break and Enters in Oakville



A male suspect has been arrested by the Halton Regional Police Service in connection with a recent series of residential break and enters in the Town of Oakville.

On November 14, 2018, a residential break and enter occurred in the area of Morrison Road and Lakeshore Rd. E. in Oakville.

On November 23, 2018, two additional residential break and enters occurred in the area of Great Lakes Boulevard and Nautical Boulevard in Oakville. In one of these incidents, the homeowners returned to their residence, interrupted the suspect and an altercation took place between the suspect and the homeowners. The homeowners were uninjured as a result of that interaction. Police were contacted, and the suspect was subsequently located and arrested.

A Search Warrant was obtained and executed at the accused's residence in Toronto which yielded the recovery of approximately $50,000 worth of stolen property.

Vitali LISENCO (49) of Toronto has been charged with the following:

  • Break and Enter – Commit (3 Counts)
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 (2 Counts)
  • Assault
  • Disguise with Intent
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order (6 Counts)

The investigation is ongoing at this time and additional charges may be laid.
