Two Brampton Men Arrested in Acton Following Drug Transaction

​In February 2019, the Halton Regional Police Drug and Human Trafficking Unit initiated an investigation into the trafficking of cocaine in the Town of Acton.

On February 19th, 2019, investigators arrested two men after observing them on a shoplifting crime spree and conducting ‘drug transactions’ in Acton.

A Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant was subsequently executed at an address in Brampton where evidence of cooking crack cocaine was located.

ACCUSED:  Wayne POWELL, 33 yrs, of Brampton is charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Theft Under $5000, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Fail to Comply with Recognizance.

ACCUSED:  Shane URBANAVICIUS, 23 yrs, of Brampton is charged with Theft Under $5000 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
