Halton Police have arrested and charged a man following a lengthy joint investigation with the Hamilton Police BEAR Unit into a Burlington robbery.
During the investigation it was determined that the same suspect was also responsible for similar Scotiabank robbery that had occurred in Hamilton on May 10th, 2018.
Charged with two counts of Robbery is:
Scott KING (50 yrs) from Toronto.
KING was released on a From 10, 11.1 with a court date in April.
At approximately 12:50 pm Halton Regional Police received a call reporting the TD Bank located at 1505 Guelph Line ( Guelph Line and Upper Middle Rd) had been robbed and the suspect fled the scene with a quantity of cash.
Initial information received describe the suspect as male white, early 40's, 5'10 140 lbs, wearing gold rim sunglasses, dark brown hair, dark jacket, black shirt and black pants.
No injuries have been report at this time.
Police and K9 officers on scene.
