Impaired Driving Offences Within Halton Region

​On April 27, 2019, just after 1:30 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Plains Road East and Queensway Drive in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Victoriya Kryvoruchko (21) of Vineland Station was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On April 27, 2019, just before 12:00 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Hamman Way and Louis St Laurent Avenue in Milton. As a result of an investigation, Kajenthiran Ramamoorthy (42) of Milton was charged with operation while impaired and fail or refuse to comply with demand.

On April 28, 2019, just before 1:30 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Guelph Line and Eramosa-Milton Townline in Milton. As a result of an investigation, Alberto Meza (65) of Guelph was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On April 28, 2019, just aftyer 3:00 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Old Colony Road and Rushbrooke Drive in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Ernesto Stasiak (59) of Oakville was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On April 29, 2019, just before 4:00 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Guelph Street and Pine Court in Halton Hills. As a result of an investigation, Jaskaran Singh (22) of Brampton was charged with fail or refuse to comply with demand.

On May 3, 2019 just after 3:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Trafalgar Road and White Oaks Boulevard. As a result of an investigation, Craig Macklin (38) of Oakville was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

The Halton Regional Police Service remains committed to road safety through prevention, education and enforcement initiatives.

Members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.

Please be reminded that all persons charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.​
