This year's Police Day will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 (rain or shine) from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Halton Regional Police Service NEW Headquarters, located at 2485 North Service Road West in Oakville. There is no admission fee for this event.
This celebration of policing in Halton Region offers visitors an opportunity to learn first-hand about law enforcement through a series of interactive displays and presentations.
Opening ceremonies will begin at 11:00 am sharp.
The theme of this year's event is "Proudly Supporting Our Police". It promotes the policing profession as well as highlights the government's commitment to ensuring that police services have the tools and resources they need to protect our communities.
Highlights and activities of the day will include:
Indoors, guests will be treated to numerous booths with information about emergency services, diversity, and volunteering and recruiting opportunities.
HMC Connections volunteer interpreters will be available through the Information booth.
ASL interpreter services available through the Information booth and ASL interpretation provided for all stage presentations.
Free parking is available at the south and north side of The Region of Halton Building off North Service Road and Bronte Road.
