Impaired Driving Offences Within Halton Region

​On May 14, 2019, just after 4:30 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Maple Avenue and Thorpe Road in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Pauline Addison (72) of Burlington was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On May 14, 2019, just before 8:00 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Kerr Street and Speers Road in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Christopher Hochrein (27) of Oakville was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On May 15, 2019 just after 12:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Lower Base Line and Regional Road 25 in Milton. As a result of an investigation, Afiyah Alam (28) of Milton was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On May 15, 2019, just after 7:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of James Snow Parkway and Derry Road in Milton. As a result of an investigation, Chris Vincent (25) of Milton was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On May 16, 2019, just before 3:30 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Ontario Street North and Steeles Avenue in Milton. As a result of an investigation, Ashley Rendon (32) of Barrie was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On May 16, 2019, just after 9:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Milburough Line and Concession 7 in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Candy Butler (44) of Millgrove was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On May 16, 2019, just before 11:00 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Main Street East and Commercial Street in Milton. As a result of an investigation, David Old (52) of Milton was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On May 16, 2019, just before 11:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Church Street and Reynolds Street in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Taylor Killeen (26) of Oakville was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

Members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.
