On Monday June 14, 2019 at approximately 0720hrs, Halton Regional Police attended a serious motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Guelph Line and Upper Middle Road in the City of Burlington. The collision occurred when a southbound vehicle turned left in front of a northbound motorcycle.
The rider, a 30 year old male from Stoney Creek, was thrown from the motorcycle and landed on the roadway, where he was assisted by several citizens. He suffered several broken bones and a head injury. He was taken to a local trauma centre for treatment. The driver of the vehicle, a 75 years old Waterdown resident, remained on scene and is co-operating with the investigation.
