Impaired Driving Offences Within Halton Region

On August 10, 2019, just after 1:30 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Royal Windsor Drive and Winston Churchill Boulevard in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Michael Vanderzanden (33) of Hamilton was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On August 10, 2019, just after 2:00 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Dundas Street West and Towne Boulevard in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Yecheon Lim (45) of Oakville was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On August 10, 2019, just before 2:30 am, Halton Police officers were investigating an occurrence in the area of Brant Street and Lakeshore Road in Burlington. As a result of the investigation, Dasean Sinclair (28) of Whitby was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On August 10, 2019 just after 8:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Appleby Line and Derry Road in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Timothy Sullivan (44) of Milton was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On August 10, 2019, just before 10:00 pm, Halton Police officers were investigating an occurrence in the area of Clark Boulevard and Ferguson Drive in Milton. As a result of the investigation, Carlos Rodriguez (54) of Milton was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On August 11, 2019 just after 3:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Lakeshore Road and Smith Avenue in Burlington. As a result of an investigation, Sultan Sanjar (19) of Burlington was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On August 11, 2019, just before 4:00 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Mountainview Road North and Confederation Street in Halton Hills. As a result of an investigation, Susan Ragoo (47) of Mississauga was charged with failure or refusal to comply with demand.

On August 11, 2019, just before 7:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Dundas Street West and Bronte Road in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Maggie Findlay (27) of Grimsby was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

The Halton Regional Police Service remains committed to road safety through prevention, education and enforcement initiatives.

Members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.
