Male Arrested and Charged Following Milton Stabbing

‚ÄčOne male has been arrested following an early morning stabbing in Milton on September 17, 2019.

Hunter Kershaw (18) of Milton is charged with:

-Attempt to Commit Murder

-Robbery

-Theft of Motor Vehicle

Kershaw appeared in bail court on this day, and will make another appearance in Milton court on Friday, September 20, 2019.

The accused and the victim in this incident are known to each other.

The investigation is ongoing, and we continue to appeal to members of the public for information that may assist. Any witnesses, anyone with information regarding this incident and/or anyone with dash cam video that may have captured Scott Boulevard near Derry Road between 3:30 am and 4:30 am on September 17, 2019 are asked to call investigators at the 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-824-4777 ext. 2415 or ext. 2416.

ORIGINAL RELEASE

Just before 4:30am officers responded to a 911 call regarding a reported stabbing in a residence on Scott Blvd. A male was located with serious injuries and was transported to hospital. No suspect(s) have been identified and no one is in custody.

There is no information to suggest that there is an ongoing related threat to safety in that area.

At this time, officers continue to canvass the area for witnesses and/or surveillance video.  Anyone with information is asked to call 905-825-4777 ext. 2415 or 2416.
