Police Seeking the Public’s Assistance – Charity Cash Stolen

The Halton Regional Police Service is seeking the public's assistance in identifying suspect(s) responsible for a break-in and theft of cash that was raised at Burlington's Ribfest over the Labour Day weekend.

During the overnight hours on September 1 to September 2, 2019, unknown suspect(s) forced entry to the office of the Rotary Club of Burlington Lakeshore, located at 1455 Lakeshore Road in Burlington. A large sum of cash was taken. The stolen money was raised by Burlington's Ribfest and was to be used by the Rotary Club of Burlington Lakeshore to support local community organizations and charities. Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible.
