Impaired Driving Offences Within Halton Region

On September 24, 2019 just after 4:30 am, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of the South Service Road West and Third Line in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Sukhjit Sandhu (26) of Brampton was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On September 24, 2019, just after 4:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Sixth Line and Dundas Street in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Cesar Perez (36) of North York was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On September 26, 2019 just after 2:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to an occurrence in the area of Neyagawa Boulevard and Upper Middle Road in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Adam Richards (28) of Arthur was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On September 26, 2019 just before 9:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Marlborough Court and Trafalgar Road in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Jeremi Poplawski (65) of Oakville was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On September 26, 2019 just after 11:00 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a collision in the area of Morrison Road and Cornwall Road in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, John Hutchison (51) of Oakville was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On September 27, 2019 just before 3:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to an occurrence in the area of Church Street and Main Street South in Halton Hills. As a result of an investigation, Dylon Chauvin (27) of Acton was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

The Halton Regional Police Service remains committed to road safety through prevention, education and enforcement initiatives.

Members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.
