Impaired Driving Offences Within Halton Region

‚ÄčOn December 6, 2019, just after 6:00 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Morden Road and Pinegrove Road in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Alan Hutchens (52) of Oakville was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On December 6, 2019, just before 10:00 pm, Halton Police officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. initiative in the area of Ontario Street and Main Street in Milton. As a result of an investigation, Tyler Rouse (31) of Grimsby was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On December 7, 2019, just after 3:30 am, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Colonel Williams Parkway and Wuthering Heights Way in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Ngonidzashe Madambi (48) of Oakville was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On December 7, 2019, just before 5:00 am, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Third Line and Upper Middle Road West in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Saurabh Batra (31) of Oakville was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On December 7, 2019, just after 2:30 pm, Halton Police officers were conducting an investigation in the area of Tremaine Road and Campbellville Road in Milton. As a result of that investigation, Robert Cerkownyk (54) of Milton was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On December 8, 2019, just after 6:30 pm, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Taunton Road and Oak Park Boulevard in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Henryk Ksiazek (70) of Oakville was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

On December 8, 2019, just before 8:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Baronwood Drive and Sequoia Way in Oakville. As a result of an investigation, Brett Grzesiak (33) of Burlington was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.

The Halton Regional Police Service remains committed to road safety through prevention, education and enforcement initiatives.

Members of the public are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.
