Pedestrian collision in Milton

On Friday September 4th 2020 at approximately 3:55 pm, Halton Regional Police Service attended a motor vehicle collision on Main Street near Martin Street in the Town of Milton.  Initial reports were that a pedestrian had been struck.

When paramedics attended the scene, they determined that the 45 year old pedestrian (male) had suffered a serious head injury and transported him to the regional trauma center in Hamilton for medical treatment.  The driver of the vehicle , a 24 year old (female) resident of Milton remained on scene and assisted police with the investigation.

Due to the nature of the injuries, the Collision Reconstruction Unit has assumed responsibility for the investigation.  Initial information would suggest that the vehicle was westbound on Main Street, west of Martin Street where the collision occurred.

Any witnesses, who have not yet spoken to police, are urged to call (905) 825-4747 extension 5065 and speak with investigators.  Anyone who may have dash cam footage and was in the area around the time of the collision is also urged to contact investigators.
