Police investigating downtown Burlington assault incident



The Halton Regional Police are currently investigating an assault that took place on May 6th 2017 at approximately 2:00 a.m., in the City of Burlington.  The victim was on Brant Street near Pine Street (just north of Lakeshore Road), when he was assaulted by the suspect.  The victim was knocked unconscious and suffered a significant facial injury.

The suspect is described as male white, in his mid to late twenties with an average build.  He was described as having a brown beard or scruff on his face.  He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, and running south on Brant Street.
