Senior Command

Chief Tanner, Deputy Duraiappah and Deputy Chief WilkieThe Halton Regional Police Service's 659 uniformed officers, 290.5 civilian staff and more than 200 volunteers work together to keep the communities of Burlington, Oakville, Milton and Halton Hills as safe tomorrow as they are today.

Leading the Service are Chief Stephen Tanner, Deputy Chief of Regional Operations Roger Wilkie and Deputy Chief of District Operations Nishan Duraiappah.

Together with the men and women of the Halton Regional Police Service, the Chief and Deputy Chiefs work diligently to build effective community partnerships and deliver proactive programs and initiatives to improve community safety, reduce and solve crime and respond to the public's calls for service.

These partnerships between the public and police are paying off: Maclean's magazine has consistently named Halton among the safest regional municipalities in Canada.

The Halton Regional Police Service is actively recruiting men and women interested in a career in law enforcement. For more information on how you can apply to become part of the Service, visit the Join Us section.
