Offence Description:

On Tuesday, January 10, 2017 two separate purse thefts occurred at grocery stores off Dundas Street in Oakville. The first occurred around 4:30 p.m. at Longo's at 338 Dundas Street East, Oakville and the second, around 4:45 p.m. at Sobeys at 478 Dundas Street West, Oakville.

Two female suspects enter the store and identify a target as they pretend to collect groceries. One female suspect acts as "the look out" while the other follows the target. While the victim is reaching for an item from a shelf, the suspect snatches her purse from her cart.

The two suspects proceed to dispose of their decoy carts and flee the scene in a Dark Grey, Honda FIT hatchback.

In both occurrences the suspects got away with two purses, iPhones, car keys, house keys, money and credit/debit cards.
