Offence Description:

On Saturday, October 5, 2019 at about 7:51 p.m., a male and female were observed by staff inside Walmart, located at 234 Hays Boulevard in the town of Oakville. The female was pushing a shopping cart, and they were accompanied by two small children.  They proceeded into the Housewares section of the store, where the female selected a pasta roller off of the shelf and handed it to the male. They went into the next aisle, where the male selected a second pasta roller, and placed it inside the shopping cart.

The suspects went back into the Housewares department, where the male was observed removing the "spider wire" off of one of the pasta rollers and discarding the wire onto a shelf. Spider wire is used in asset protection, typically on higher end merchandise, in an effort to deter theft. During this time, The female acted as a lookout.

The suspects made their way into the Toy department, where the female selected a toy box and placed it into the shopping cart. They went next to the Hardware department where the female concealed one of the pasta rollers inside a backpack.

The couple went to the Electronics department where they paid for other items using a Walmart gift card.

As they approached the exit ,they stopped to show security the receipt for the paid items. They exited the store, passing all points of sale without paying for the merchandise concealed in the backpack and the shopping cart.

They were seen getting into a black Volkswagen Jetta. A license plate was not obtained, nor any other descriptors.

#1- Female, white, 30-35 years, 5'6", 220 pounds, heavy build, black hair tied in a bun, black tank top with blue shirt over top of it, black sweat pants with the word PINK written in white lettering down the legs, flip flops with pink flowers on the tops

#2-Male, black, 30-35 years, 5'9", 170 pounds, medium build, black hair in long dread locks, white t shirt with black jacket over top, gray jeans, black shoes, few days growth of facial hair.
