Offence Description:

On 08 December 2019, an unknown male and female suspect attended the Roots store located at 13850 Steeles Avenue in Halton Hills. They selected a jacket valued at $198.00 and concealed it in a reusable bag. They attended the cash register where they attempted to exchange the unpaid for jacket for other items. The complainant refused the exchange as there was no receipt. The male and female then grabbed the unpaid for jacket and left the store.

Suspect #1: Female, possibly East Indian, in 50's, approximately 5'5" tall and 190lbs, brown eyes and short brown hair, wearing a black parka with faux fur on hood, black pants and glasses.

Suspect #2: Male, possibly East Indian, in 50's, approximately 5'10" tall and 200lbs., wearing a blue jacket with a blue top underneath, blue jeans, blue cap and glasses.
