On August 11, 2024 at approximately 3:52pm Halton police responded to a motor vehicle collision in the intersection of Cedar Springs Rd and 1 Side Road in the City of Burlington. A silver Infiniti sedan was travelling northbound on Cedar Springs Rd and a black Mazda SUV was travelling eastbound on 1 Side Road. The two vehicles collided in the intersection. The passenger of the Infiniti, a 41 year old Mississauga resident was transported to an out of region trauma centre with life-altering injuries. 

Due to the nature of the injuries, the Collision Reconstruction Unit attended the scene and took carriage of the investigation. Any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police are requested to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-825-4747 ext. 5065
