Seniors and Law Enforcement Together (S.A.L.T.)

Seniors and Law Enforcement Together (S.A.L.T.) is a joint initiative between the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) and volunteers from the older adult residents of Halton region.

Role of S.A.L.T. Volunteers

Volunteers are actively involved with the community and provide community outreach through various community agencies, faith groups, retirement residences, long term care homes, and more.

S.A.L.T. volunteers and police representatives also regularly attend community functions to provide older adults and members of the public with crime prevention and safety information in support of our collective commitment to Community Safety and Well-Being.
