Burlington Traffic Stop Leads To Fentanyl Seizure

​On September 13, 2020, just after 7:00 pm, a uniform member of the Halton Regional Police Service observed a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed in the area of Billings Court and South Service Road in Burlington.  A traffic stop was conducted and grounds were formed for a lawful search of the vehicle.  Search of the vehicle led to the discovery and seizure of approximately 300 grams of fentanyl, valued at over $100,000, as well as $15,000 in cash.

Parteek Ghuman (19) of Stoney Creek has been charged with:

-Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl

-Obstruct Peace Officer

Ghuman has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
