Applicants who make it to the next round must complete:
Pre-Interview Questionnaire (PIQ): If you are successful through the application screening process, you will be asked to complete an electronic Pre-Interview Questionnaire (PIQ). Your PIQ will be reviewed by a Recruiting Officer who will determine whether you advance to the next stage.
Experienced Officer Interview (EOI): You will be invited to meet with a panel of two Recruiting Officers for a blended Local Focus Interview and Essential Competencies Interview.
OPC Equivalency Exam: If successful in the interview, all out-of-province and potential military police candidates will be registered to write the OPC Equivalency Exam and be provided with study material.
Psychological Assessment: The next stage is completing the psychological testing questionnaire and subsequent interview with our Psychologist.
Background Investigation: The next stage in the selection process involves a designated Background Investigator who conducts a thorough check of all the information gathered during the process. This includes, but is not limited to, references provided, educational documents, employment history, credit and cyber checks, and meeting you and your family during a home visit. During this stage, you will also be required to complete a medical assessment.
Final Selection Report: All the information gathered during the process is summarized and submitted for review. Successful applicants will receive an Offer of Employment.
