Crime Stats
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) carefully monitors crime in our community. The HRPS also records data related to many different types of crime. This data is used to identify real time similarities and ongoing trends throughout the year. The HRPS Strategic Management Office collects data, measures, and analyses the broader information in order to provide informed operational recommendations.
The HRPS is committed to community safety and well-being and recognizes the value of sharing information with the community. Every year, the HRPS reports crime statistics to the Halton Police Board and in its Annual Reports. Below you will find the most recent annual statistics.
