Stronger together.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) recognizes that we serve a mosaic of people who not only bring their differences but uniqueness to our community. We are committed to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion, both within the community-at-large and across our membership.

HRPS Training

Our members receive ongoing equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) training throughout their careers. Training topics include diversity and human rights, cultural awareness, anti-racism, racial discrimination, self-awareness, and internal / implicit biases.

Diversity Engagement Table

We understand the importance of communicating with our diverse community through roundtable discussions and consultations including our Diversity Engagement Table (DET). The DET is made up of community members and organizations that provide advice and insight on ways to improve relationships with our Police Service and diverse members of our community.
