Burial Monument Stolen from Burlington Cemetery

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is requesting public assistance to locate a burial monument stolen from a Burlington Cemetery.

The monument was reported stolen May 26, 2026, from the Lowville United Church Cemetery located at 2707 Britannia Road, and is believed to have been taken sometime between May 16 and May 22.

The monument is described as a large Angel standing 4 ½ feet tall, made of cast resin and weighing approximately 100 pounds. A photo of the stolen burial monument has been attached to this media release.

Anyone who has observed the monument, or anyone who may have information relating to it’s disappearance is asked to contact the 3 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2316.
