Caught On Tape – Occurrence Number: 2023–243594

On July 30, 2023 at approximately 1:00pm, the complainant in this occurrence was the victim of a distraction theft at the Fortinos located at 2515 Appleby Line in the City of Burlington. An unknown female approached the victim and engaged her in conversation while an accomplice stole her wallet from inside her purse.

The victim's credit card was then used at approximately 1:25pm to purchase prepaid credit cards at the Dollarama located at 2435 Appleby Line, Burlington.

Police are looking to identify the male in this picture in relation to this occurrence.
