Crime Stoppers of Halton Hosts Second Annual Family Car Show - Raising Awareness on Auto Thefts & Community Safety
Crime Stoppers of Halton is preparing to welcome car enthusiasts, families and community members to its Second Annual Family Car Show on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Following the tremendous response to the inaugural event in 2025, Crime Stoppers of Halton, together with its volunteers and Canada First Home Fortification, is once again bringing the community together for a day celebrating vehicles while raising awareness about auto theft, driving safety and organized vehicle crimes.

The Family Car Show provides an opportunity for vehicle owners to showcase their cars while helping support Crime Stoppers of Halton's ongoing efforts to make communities across the Halton Region safer.
“Events like our Family Car Show are about much more than cars,” said Colin Jessome, Executive Director Crime Stoppers of Halton. “They give us an opportunity to bring the community together, start important conversations about auto theft and organized crime, and remind everyone that community safety is a shared responsibility. When residents, businesses, law enforcement and community organizations work together, we can make a real difference.”
Vehicle owners wishing to participate are asked to make a donation of their choice to Crime Stoppers of Halton. Funds raised through the event help support ongoing crime prevention programs, co-op placements and community safety initiatives throughout the Halton Region.
The event also highlights the important role that residents can play in preventing and reporting crime. Auto theft continues to affect communities across Ontario, and Crime Stoppers encourages residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity.
Crime Stoppers of Halton is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to helping keep the community safe by providing an anonymous way for members of the public to provide information about crime.
