Early Morning Shooting in Oakville

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating an early morning shooting in Oakville.

On Sunday, March 29, 2026, at approximately 5:30 am, police were called to the area of Lakeshore Road and Fourth Line for reports of a shooting. 

Investigators believe the shooting to be targeted, and one male was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Police are seeking witnesses who may have observed the shooting or who may possess relevant dashcam footage from the area.

Investigators are specifically requesting dashcam video recorded between 5:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. in the following locations:

·       Lakeshore Road and Fourth Line, Oakville

·       Lakeshore Road between Fourth Line and Southdown Road, Mississauga

·       Ford Drive from Lakeshore Road to the QEW

·       Winston Churchill Boulevard from Lakeshore Road to the QEW

At this time, there is no available description of a suspect or vehicle.
