Fatal Collision in Acton

On March 3, 2026 at approximately 8:40am, Halton Regional Police were notified of a serious motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Regional Road 25 and 32 Sideroad in Acton. A dump truck had been travelling northbound on Regional Road 25 a white Hyundai Elantra had been travelling eastbound on 32 Sideroad. A collision occurred between the two vehicles within the intersection. The driver of the Hyundai died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision. An additional occupant in the Hyundai was transported to an out of region trauma centre with life threatening injuries. The driver of the dump truck was uninjured. 

Due to the severity of the injuries the Collision Reconstruction Unit attended and took carriage of the investigation. Any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police are requested to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-825-4747 ext.  5065 or CRU@HaltonPolice.ca
