Man Arrested after Stabbing in Oakville

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made an arrest and laid charges after a double stabbing in Oakville.

On Sunday, March 29, 2026, at approximately 10:00 am, police were called to a residence in the area of Lakeshore Road West and Great Lakes Boulevard in Oakville. Police attended the residence and found two stabbing victims with serious injuries. They were taken to hospital and remain in serious but stable condition.

A 54-year-old male of Oakville was arrested at the scene. He has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault.

In order to protect the identity of the victims, police will not be identifying the accused. Police are not searching for outstanding suspects.
