Oakville Shooting Investigation
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is requesting public assistance following a shooting investigation in Oakville.
On May 22, 2026, at approximately 7:35 a.m. officers responded to a residence in the area of Prince Michael Drive and Taylorwood Drive following a report of shots being fired.
Officers responded and investigation determined multiple shots were fired into a residence. The home was occupied at the time of the shooting; however, no physical injuries were reported.
Investigators believe this to be a targeted incident. There is no known threat to public safety.
A dark coloured SUV was seen in the area at the time of the shooting and investigators are asking anyone with information on this investigation, or anyone who may have security or dash cam video from the area of Prince Michael Drive and Taylorwood Drive between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. to contact the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2216.
