Police Looking to Identify Vehicle in Oakville Shooting

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a vehicle involved in an Oakville shooting.

On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at approximately 1:30 a.m., a white four-door sedan (see attached photos) parked outside a residence on Sawyer Drive in Oakville. A lone suspect exited the vehicle and fired multiple shots at the home and a vehicle parked in the driveway.

While there were people inside the home at the time of the shooting, fortunately, no one was injured.

Anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage from the area of Sawyer Drive, including Rebecca Street (between Bronte Road and Third Line), between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. on July 1 is asked to contact police.
