Suspicious Male in Burlington
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is seeking to identify a suspicious male who approached a group of children in Burlington.
On Tuesday, June 16, at approximately 3:30 p.m., a small group of students were walking home from school in the area of Spruce Avenue and Meadowhill Road when they were approached by an unknown male who offered them a ride home.
The children did not stop or speak to the male, and he subsequently left the area on foot. There were no physical injuries, and the male did not make any physical contact with the children.
The male is described as white, approximately 65 years old, and between 5'5" and 5'8" tall. He has a hunched posture, a heavy build, and a birthmark on the right side of his face. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, blue shirt, and grey shorts.
Investigators are hoping to identify the male. Anyone with information or dash cam / CCTV footage in the area of Meadowhill Road and Spruce Avenue between the hours of 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. on June 16 is asked to contact the 3 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2316.
